Singapore to host the Formula 1 World Championship until 2021

Singapore Grand Prix organizers are now investigating the photo as an alleged breach in security as well as an alleged bribery incident.

The post later circulated on the Internet and was picked up by website All Singapore Stuff.

The agreement was concluded after several rounds of negotiations between the Singapore Tourism Board, the race promoter, Singapore Grand Prix Pte Ltd (SGP), and FORMULA 1 that commenced last February.

As for Viv Smith, he's currently laying low in Malaysia "in disguise" until the whole thing blows over, according to his comments on the post.

But little did the Mercedes boys know that they were about to cop some thunder from down under. To some, it seems, SIA is more than just another brand. The Monaco Grand Prix where he was obviously in the lead and hit the wall, that always comes in and reminds me not to do that.

Singapore Airlines, the official sponsor of the Grand Prix, dominated the social media buzz, accounting for 85% of the chatter. "Being fifth on the grid, knowing that the Red Bulls and the Ferraris were so quick, on a grippy circuit which would probably be dry, I knew it would be very, very difficult to progress from there".

Other sponsors that generated reactions included Heineken, Rolex, and DHL at 9%, 4% and 2%, respectively. It supplies, for example, a train operation control system to San Francisco's BART commuter railway system and airport traffic control assistance system to London's Heathrow Airport. "Not surprisingly, Singapore Airlines has a done a tremendous job of the sponsorship deal - but the brand that stood out for its marketing efforts is Heineken, given that its association with the sport only began last year". There was no need for an apology from Sainz, who placed a career-best fourth, earning warm congratulations from the pitwall. Lewis Hamilton took first place after Sebastian Vettel crashed just after the race commenced.

"The race in Singapore has provided an excellent platform for businesses to test-bed new lifestyle initiatives and products", he says.
