Kim Jong-un's half-brother killed by 'DEADLIEST nerve agent'

Kim Jong-nam was carrying $100,000 in cash in his backpack at the time of his murder, the police officer investigating the case told a Malaysian court yesterday.

Chief investigating officer Wan Azirul Nizam Che Wan Aziz identified the men as only Mr. Y and Mr. Chang.

A Malaysian police officer testified Thursday that the two women on trial in the murder of the estranged half brother of North Korea's leader were seen on airport security videos with two men believed to have provided the VX nerve agent used to kill him.

North Korea often uses provocative tests to mark key historical commemorations and the country is celebrating the 72nd anniversary of the founding of the ruling Workers' Party on Tuesday.

Wan Azirul said Huong hurried away from Kim and "her hand gestures showed she was uncomfortable".

One piece of footage showed Doan walking through KLIA2 with a man wearing a cap.

"The man (seen) walking together with Doan is referred to as Mr Y", he said, adding that the man had smeared a liquid, believed to be VX, onto Doan's hands.

Mr Wan Azirul told the court their hands were in normal positions after they left the bathrooms.

The men's faces, however, cannot be seen clearly. The women were mostly seen in separate locations, save for during the attack and later at a taxi stand. The pair were in the same area at the time of the attack, Mr Wan Azirul, confirmed.

No further details about those four suspects were disclosed in open court, though Prosecutor Wan Shaharuddin Wan Ladin said outside court the four are believed to be North Koreans.

A chemist testified earlier he detected VX on Huong's fingernail clippings and that the amount of VX detected on Kim's face exceeded a fatal dose.

Their defense lawyers have said Huong and Aisyah were duped by suspected North Korean agents into believing they were playing a harmless prank for a TV show.

Aisyah's lawyer, Gooi Soon Seng, has told reporters previously that she was recruited in early January by a North Korean man known just as James to star in what he said were video prank shows.

James later introduced Aisyah to a man called Chang, who said he was the producer of Chinese video prank shows.

Siti and Doan along with the four others still at large, were charged with the murder of Kim Chol, 45, at the KL International Airport 2 (KLIA2) departure hall at 9am on Feb 13 this year.
