Ronaldo reject new Real Madrid contract, wants exist — La Liga

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo might be on the verge of a possible exit from the Santiago Bernabeu if the current rumours, which are looking as a cluster of dark cloud surrounding the La Liga giants turned out to be true.

Ronaldo's love for the club's fans and his teammates remains the same, however, he is deeply frustrated by the club's new offer for a contract. Look back only as far as 2016 and he was seen to be the leader of all men.

Furthermore, his numbers were starting to outstretch everything football had ever seen.

According to Spanish media, the FIFA World Player of the year has rejected a new contract at Real Madrid and told President Florentino Perez he wants to leave on June 30.

The award, which will be handed to the winner on 7 December, has been shared between the two superstars since 2008, with Messi winning it five times, and Ronaldo claiming it on four occasions.

This may explain why Real Madrid's interest in Mbappe cooled towards the end of last summer, leaving the road clear for PSG. There is no such crisis for Ronaldo. He recently became a father once again after he and his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez gave birth to their daughter Alana Martina.
