Diafra Sakho has Crystal Palace medical ahead of expected £10m move

Hammers ace Diafra Sakho looks set to leave the London Stadium this month, with the Daily Mail claiming that Crystal Palace have made an offer of £10 million for his services.

Roy Hodgson is keeping "quiet" Crystal Palace's linked move for Diafra Sakho but says the club are "working overtime" on signings.

Smolov currently plays for Russian Premier League team Krasnodar and has scored 10 league goals in 13 appearances so far this season.

West Ham are holding out for a feee in the region of £12million for the Senegal international, who is yet to start a single game for United this season due, it is thought, to a clause in his contract guaranteeing him a bumper bonus should he be selected in a starting XI.

Hodgson has previously revealed that Palace need to sign up to seven players in the January window and the former England boss says everyone at Selhurst Park is working hard to bring players in.

"It would be very foolish of me to start commenting on anybody at the moment. We don't want to bring players in for the sake of bringing them in".

"We have always been thinking that when the January transfer window comes around that we will try and resolve some of these problems".

The striker whose summer move to Ligue 1 side Rennes infamously collapsed on deadline day is understood to have grown frustrated at the Hammers.
